DUE TO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES, THE FAMILY HAS DECIDED TO CANCEL FRIDAY'S VISITATION AND SATURDAY'S FUNERAL MASS. Sandra (Rivera) Zambrotta 68, of Tinton Falls, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020. Born in Manhattan, New York, she was the daughter of the late Angel and Anna (Santiago) Rivera. Sandra attended Commander Shea Roman Catholic School in New York. Sandra worked in the manufacturing industry at United Togs, the billing department at Expedite (Premier Global) and for the Tinton Falls School District as an aide. Surviving is her loving husband, Dominic Peter Zambrotta, of 32 years and four children, Juan Ortiz and daughter-in-law Mondesta, David Zambrotta and daughter-in-law Tara, Danielle McNamara and son-in-law Walter, and Dawn Dunn and son-in-law Kevin. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Sandra lived and loved to be surrounded by family. Becoming a mother and grandmother were defining moments that filled Sandra’s life with immense happiness and great purpose. “Abuela” as she was affectionately known, was immensely proud of all her children and unconditionally loving and generous to her eight grandchildren and great grandchildren. An eternal free spirit, Sandra lived life to the fullest and always with a beautiful smile on her face. Sandra was always ready to lend a helping hand to others and offer positive words of wisdom as a reminder to enjoy all of God’s greatest gifts each and every day. She loved traveling, especially to Paradise Island, Bahamas, enjoying time with her family and friends sitting poolside in the backyard, enjoying food and fun in Atlantic City and making beautiful memories and award-winning wine with friends and family. **CANCELLED**Friends and family are invited to call at Bongarzone Funeral Home from 1:00-5:00 P.M. on Friday, January 1, 2021.
