Phyllis M Barschow

Phyllis M. Barschow 83,of Eatontown, NJ passed away on the night of Wednesday December 8th 2021, at home with her loving family at her side. She was born September 6th 1938 to Louis and Fanny Long and was raised in Brooklyn NY. She has been a resident of Eatontown, NJ since 1979. She was predeceased by her husband James H. Barschow in 2020, her brother Louis Long, brother Joseph Long, her sister Rosalie, her son John F. Barschow and daughter Debbie Barschow. Surviving are her children James Barschow (Sue), Billy Barschow (Sue), Kathy Barschow (Charlie) and Cynthia Alonge (Sias). Also survived by 12 cherished grandchildren Ashley Meadows, Jackie Meadows, Johnny Meadows, Joseph Barschow(Sharon), Chelsea Alonge(Johnny), Maddy Alonge, Billy Barschow (Mandy), Johnny Barschow, Kevin Barschow (Sarah), Margaret Barschow (Seth), Courtney Washeleski (Matt), and Cassidy Washeleski (Andrew); and 8 great grandchildren Giuliana, Michael, Chanel, Olivia, Logan, Zoey, Vinny, and Penelope. To Phyllis family was everything, she welcomed everyone with open arms, to her, the more the merrier. Phyllis had looked after many children in daycare over the years, she loved and cherished the kids as well as their families. Phyllis loved to share her tips and tricks of the trade as she had such a giving heart and always shared as much as she could. Any excuse to get together or throw a party, she filled any house with warmth. Her legacy will live on through many recipes she taught, and life lessons shared. Phyllis loved to donate to many charities, however her favorite was St. Jude Children’s research hospital. Inurnment of James and Phyllis Barschow will be held 10:00 am on Friday December 17, 2021, at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
